It seems I've been a school teacher/school librarian all my life. After 40+ years, I'm seriously looking at retiring. I've never wanted to retire because teaching is who I am; it's what I do, it's all I know. However, after thinking I'd never have any grandchildren, the Lord blessed my daughter with twin girls. I think my new calling will be to help make certain that these girls learn to read and learn to love to read. So my “school” location may change, but I will always be an educator.
